Reporting an error

If you are reporting a factual error, please include the profile's address, the exact sentence at issue, and a source we can check. A correction is not accepted or rejected on the strength of the request alone — the underlying source is re-read against the sentence in question, and the profile is updated, held, or left as is based on what that source actually shows. See the corrections policy for the full process.

If you are the subject of a profile

Profiles are built from sources that were fetched and read in full, with first-party statements labelled separately from independently reported claims. If a profile about you or your organization contains something you believe is inaccurate, incomplete, or unfairly framed, say so specifically — which sentence, and why — so it can be checked against the cited source rather than rewritten on request alone.

What happens after you send this

Messages go to the editorial inbox, not a queue answered automatically. Corrections and source tips are reviewed first; general and rights enquiries follow. We aim to reply within five working days, though a correction that requires re-reading a source may take longer than that to resolve properly.
